Position Summary
Landscaping Services is seeking a part-time employee to assist in grounds maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities

Mowing and edging lawns using push mowers or power mowers, edgers, and tree trimmers.

Caring for lawns and flower beds by mulching, weeding, and trimming and edging around flower beds, sidewalks, and buildings.

Using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, and hedge and brush trimmers to care for the plant life on campus.

Pruning and trimming trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws.

Picking up and removing litter.

Clearing off and cleaning sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, and other grounds features.

Occasionally driving a vehicle to transport landscaping equipment and other personnel.
Job Requirements/Qualifications

Landscaping worker with commercial landscaping experience only.
- Candidates must have six months to one year, or more, of experience and a valid Driver’s License. Experience maintaining tools is preferred.
- Candidate must also have a high commitment level, be trustworthy, and display integrity in all work situations.
- Physical requirements include the ability to listen to and comprehend instructions given verbally, arm-hand steadiness, manual dexterity to work with hand tools, the ability to see details, ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pull or push up to 75 pounds, and the ability to stretch, bend, twist, and reach.
